Teresa, I so love that rose! The way it it bends so gracefully willy nilly. Your oral history of this beautiful rose fascinated me as I live in Oregon and am now thinking I need this rose! You may be ashamed to learn that I dug out most of my rose bushes a year back because I just couldn’t keep the deer away. So discouraging for me as well as a lot of work. But after your video of Harlson’s Yellow I’ve been inspired to find the courage to try again. As usual your garden is so lovely. Thanks for sharing it.
Thank you for the kind words! And yes do try again. I love deer BUT don’t let them “steal” the pleasure of some roses! Good luck! Let me know how it goes!
I enjoyed this video so much. It’s one thing to see still photos, but here I felt like I was actually having a tour of your garden. And what a beautiful rose!

So glad you came to visit! Last night was very cold . I am anxious to get home to see if there was damage!
I love hearing the sound of your sweet voice! You are so knowledgable, I love it. I feel like I am right there with you.
