Today we have our first snow and this morning it looks fresh and beautiful and boy is it cold… windchill factor is 7 degrees! Burrrrrr…. wasn’t it in the 50s a couple of days ago?
Here’s my view today in and around The Potting Shed…
As you know I spend a lot of time dreaming of spring but for today, I am enjoying the pretty snow.
By the way… it is only 88 days until spring! If you want to see how the garden looks in the spring, check out these posts…
Your pond looks especially lovely with the white accents! I am so encouraged to hear that there are only 88 days until spring!! But, like you, I admit that the first snowfall is pretty!

I was amazed to see the fish still swimming in the pond this morning. They better go deep! It is nippy out there!
How I love to see snow on other people’s gardens! But snow in the South means panic and gridlock and a run on the grocery stores. I do enjoy it though if I can stay at home till it melts-
It is pretty and we are a bit better able to “deal” with it up here. However, my heart longs for spring. I love green!
Loved your post on Larkspur…. a real fav of mine!
You really have such a beautiful garden Teresa, so lovely even in winter! 🙂
Ok, the Christmas snow jealousy is kicking in fast…. The Nashville Gardener speaks words of truth! If it even looks like snow, the #DeepSouth goes into panic mode…. Great photos!
Oh how I remember that “flake frenzy” when I lived south of the Mason Dixon! HA!
Such a pretty garden!
So beautiful… Enchanting!
Wonderful posting. Beautiful captures!
Thanks Stan. Have a wonderful holiday with your family. I have so enjoyed your rose pictures in 2012! 🌹🌹
