Spent today getting the roses and their companions ready for a long winter’s nap and decorating the potting shed porch. Now we wait for snow!
We have had a beautiful fall and I AM excited about Christmas and I do LIKE snow, but I LOVE spring and that comes in 113 days!
CONFESSION: I told myself I would wait until after Christmas to order new roses, BUT I have already ordered a “few.” I’ll share my list–after Christmas. 🙂

Please share what roses you purchased and from where. I am going to buy two roses for the spring and there are so many varities!
My favorite online sources for roses are http://www.davidaustinroses.com/american/Advanced.asp and https://www.edmundsroses.com/ Do you want to purchase old garden roses, landscape roses or modern hybrids?
I didn’t realize the countdown to spring has already begun! 😉 I can’t wait to hear which roses you purchased. I have been trying to cut down on the rose buying, but it’s a hard habit to break!
Yes I am counting down … But not “officially” until after Christmas! 🎄🎄
What a glorious garden! I think I love fall best, and of course, then spring will come, and I’ll love spring. 🙂 I guess I love all seasons. I can see we have much in common by the ambience of your garden. I, too, love the wood picket fencing. Great video!
My husband built the fence and arbors and the potting shed too. He’s is so talented!
Teresa, I loved the video! That grass plant is so elegant beside the lovely pond! 113 days until spring makes me smile. 🙂 Nice decorating! You’ve inspired me…
Blessings ~ Wendy
Fall is not my favorite season but there are beautiful things to enjoy about all seasons! God does nice work!
LOVE THIS TOO! So cool to have your neighbor with a real barn…did the property come with it? LOVE your garden…such a treasure. Allen has NOTHING ON YOU! 😉
The barn and home behind us is no longer in use but the horse barn is a treasure. Beyond the barn in a lovely horse pasture and riding trails from a by-gone era. We hope it is someday restored!
