As you already know, I love my potting shed to pieces. It is a tiny little space, but it does get a lot of attention. I don’t believe any gardener has ever visited my potting shed without saying, “I want one of these!” — unless they already had one! Or a greenhouse which is still on my wish list.
One of those garden-loving visitors who has said over and over and over, “I want one of these!” is my sister. She, like me, loves to dig in the dirt!
I am happy to report to you that this was the year! A move to a new location was decided for several reasons of course, but one of them was the room for a potting shed. And she has just spent her first summer as the owner of a potting shed. But, I know something that she doesn’t yet know–winters are the very best time to have a potting shed. ๐
Look how cute her shed is…
That’s a very posh shed – nice one
Did your sister build one of those small house kits I read so much about?
She bought a pre-made Amish log cabin and it was delivered in tact and set on her location! It even has a tiny loft!
Yay for a new potting shed! I love the walk-thru. Thanks for sharing it! I hope to have my own by next fall.
Yes… You are so right!
Mia, you will love it!! Keep me posted on your plans! ๐น๐๐น
awesome log cabin potting shed, beautiful and functionable, can’t ask for more than that.
Thanks for inspiring me!
That shed is just adorable. Stopping a bit to have a little swing would be top on my priority list. A little envious of her tool organizing skills. I’ve yet to develop that wonderful attribute. Thanks for the tour.
I know. The swing is sooooo fun!
Beautiful! It reminds me of the “playhouse” I always wanted but never had as a kid.
I call my “space” a potting shed–Mr. G calls it my playhouse! ๐ I think you should have a garden playhouse too. You would love it!!
Wow… Do you think she will sleep in the loft? ๐ Very nice; wish I had room for one in the garden, but I have a whole heated bay of my garage with all my potting and gardening stuff in it to work from year-round.
Sounds like you have the “garden space “covered! A whole bay!
